Australian Champion Advocates Programme gathers key health media to discuss the importance of preventing CVD in Australian women

On Tuesday March 18, 2014, the World Heart Federation and Heart Foundation of Australia hosted a Heart to Heart. This was an intimate media-briefing event to help raise the profile of secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in Australia. It was a media event held as part of the global Champion Advocates Programme which aims to help the World Health Organization reach its goal of a 25% reduction in premature mortality by non-communicable diseases, by 2025 (25by25).
